About Us

The Hadley Project began with a simple shared goal: to channel multi-year funding to grassroots non-profits led by people of color across the KC Metro area.

We began this process with a broad survey of existing funds working in this space, speaking to funders, non-profits and intermediaries across the country to try and create an innovative and unique model to push the boundaries of what philanthropy can look like.

We are always seeking to evolve and improve and we continue to welcome new ideas and refinements to our model as we progress, including an ongoing search for progressive and diverse board candidates based in Kansas City.
